Emerald Coast First Responders Association Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 charity based out of Panama City Beach Florida.

Our mission is to support First Responders in their time of need.

Some of the past support projects we have accomplished:

Help sponsor the local First Responder Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM/PEER Support) Team

Purchased Ballistic Vests, Specialized First Aid Kits, and Oxygen Masks Kits for the area Law Enforcement K9 dogs.

Helped purchase a specialized wheelchair for a local Law Enforcement Officer who suddenly became paralyzed from an illness.

Provided financial assistance to several First Responders to pay medical bills for their children with chronic illnesses/injuries.

Helped 30 local First Responder provide Thanksgiving and Christmas to their families following the devastation caused by Category 5 Hurricane Michael in October 2018.

Helped First Responders in Louisiana following the devastation caused by Category 4 Hurricane Ida in August 2021.

Established the Emerald Coast First Responders Association scholarship at Gulf Coast State College for any citizen looking to become a First Responder (Firefighter, EMS, Law Enforcement), or for any current First Responder wanting to further their education by taking academic classes.

Future Goals & Projects

Create a second First Responder Scholarship to assist in sending more people to school to become a First Responder (Firefighter, EMS, Law Enforcement).

Create a Firefighter and EMS Memorial to be built next to the Law Enforcement Memorial at the Bay County Government Complex.

Create a First Responder Rescue Disaster Response Team including the necessary vehicles, equipment, and tools needed to respond after a disaster to any First Responder's house to help secure their house/property after a disaster (cleaning up debris, cutting up downed trees, tarping roofs, boarding up houses, loaning out temporary use generators for use until power is restored, etc.) to be staffed by off duty First Responders volunteering their time to assist the fellow First Responder.
